Delivery apps show the menu they want to sell you. menufied.com shows the menu the restaurant published itself, with its own prices, itemised and dated, for every eating place in a city, and lets you search across all of them by dish: who has a Sunday roast, who does a vegan curry, what a flat white costs on this street.
Bath was the first city, chosen by measuring which city’s restaurants actually publish their menus on their own sites. The register is in the same style as our other city sites.

The work
The itemiser is the craft: menus come as PDFs, images and pages in every shape, with column layouts, calorie counts, leader dots, two-line dish names and size words, and the itemiser reads them into dishes and prices while leaving a shop’s own labels alone. A weekly job re-reads every site and dates what changed.

How it is built
The register engine from our other city sites, pointed at menus: a small database, a static build, Cloudflare static assets, a weekly job. Each new city is a configuration and a measurement, not a new site.
